Each year, Ahavas Chesed receives Thousands of calls from individuals impacted by medical crisis.
Established by Rabbi Avrohom Lider in 1987, Ahavas Chesed has created a community of some of the best doctors, medical professionals, chaplains and volunteers to provide medical guidance, assistance, resources and advocacy programs to those facing health challenges.
Today, Ahavas Chesed asks the community to rise as one and “Let’s Heal Together.” With a fundraising goal of $360,000, this 48 hour, double or nothing matching campaign is a collective step toward furthering the impact of the organization, bringing comfort, strength and improving overall quality of life.
After her husband fell ill Ahavas Chesed jumped in to assist in any way possible. “Ahavas Chesed was totally there for my family in every way. It was just such a relief” said Mrs. Faigy Bell.
“During a crisis people feel lost and alone, we strive to be there and assist in any way possible. From a simple ride to an appointment to life saving advocacy and medical advice.” said Rabbi Lider.
