N’Shei U’Bonos Chabad’s annual convention will take place this Shabbos in Crown Heights 26-28 Iyar, June 3-5. It will be the Nshei Ubnos Chabad 61st annual convention.

Rabbi Leibel Groner, the Rebbe’s Mazkir, will farbreng at the Melave Malka session for guests, shluchos and Crown Heights women.

The Grand Hakhel banquet will be held downstairs in 770 on Sunday at 5:30 pm. Rabbi Shlomo Majeski will read the Rebbe’s letter and Rabbi Reuven Wolf, renowned lecturer and Director of Maayan Yisroel in Los Angeles, CA will be the keynote speaker.

The first official organization that the Rebbe established was Nshei Chabad in the year 5712 (1952), and the annual convention was very dear to the Rebbe, who took special interest in every detail, especially the theme.

To stress to everyone how dear the Convention is to the Rebbe, one year the Rebbe instructed Rabbi Leibel Groner to go home and take care of their children, so that Mrs. Groner, who had just given birth, would be able to attend the convention.

The Rebbe would send a letter to the convention and address the women and the girls in the main shul in 770 downstairs, and give his holy brochos together with a special message for the upcoming year.
