    Lubavitcher Punched, Holds Down Teen

The 17-year-old arrested Thursday night for helping another man punch a Chasidic man in his face while working, wasn’t cooperating with detectives while being held overnight in the 71st Precinct, law enforcement sources told JP Friday.

Tark Michel, who lives at 770 New York Avenue, was arrested and charged with assault for being the accomplice in assaulting 35-year-old Lubavitcher. While being questioned, he told detectives that he doesn’t know the man who punched, the sources said.

“I usually don’t hang out with this guy. I don’t know his name,” he told detectives, according to the sources. Michel was taken Friday morning to central booking and is expected to appear in front of a judge later on Friday but will not face hate crime charges, because there is nothing that indicates bias in this incident, a source said.

The Hate Crime Task Force Unit and the 71st Precinct detective squad are continuing the investigation to find the man who punched, police said.

I’m quite pained at the Jew’s reaction. These poor souls
probably came from a bad background…no father to
      guide them…mother sick, alcoholic…who knows…poor
      teenagers.
The Jew should have thrown him under the car afterwards.
