In 1942 the Nazis gathered all of Rostov’s Jews at Zmiyovskaya Balka – Snakes valley – which ultimately became the site of the worst massacre by the Nazis in Russia. Yesterday, Rabbi Chaim Danzinger, Shliach to Rostov, together with a group of community members, visited the site to pray and light the menorah in the memory of the holy kedoshim who perished there • Photos
