I don’t know much. Despite have learnt in Yeshivah many years. Left the orthodox world for my psycholical and emotional welfare.

However. I believe that the main reason which you’ve omitted (perhaps an oversight on your part). Is that our bodies don’t belong to us. It’s a godly vessel for the soul to live on this earth. Therefore we can’t scathe our vessels for the soul for its not ours to tamper with.

Anyway. Thought to mention it for whatever reason.
