Siyum HaRambam to be Held on Lag B’Omer in Front of Beis Chayenu
As we stand around 90 days before the Siyum HaRambam, the preparations for this momentous occasion are in full swing. On Wednesday evening 17 Iyar, (May 18) at 7:30 PM the Siyum HaRambam will Begin. By nightfall –on the eve of Lag B’omer– the great masses will be treated to a concert by Avraham Fried. By nightfall –on the eve of Lag B’omer– the great masses will be treated to a concert by Avraham Fried. A special choir and orchestra conducted by Yossi Cohen will accompany Avraham Fried.
The Siyum HaRambam will be a continuation of the historic Siyum HaRambam that took place last year on the day of Gimmel Tammuz in front of “770.”
The organizers expressed their gratitude to the Police Department for their generous cooperation as they did on Gimmel Tammuz last year.
The organizers said that there is a glaring message of Divine Providence that the Siyum HaRambam last year was on Gimmel Tammuz and the Siyum HaRambam this year is on the eve of Lag B’omer. In this manner we will be celebrating the Simcha of the Rebbe together with the Simcha of Reb Shimon Bar Yochai.
