After a very successful year, the registration at the new Yeshiva Hachana Leshlichus is booming. Headed by Rabbi Mendy Levy, and based in Ramat Gan, Israel, this English speaking Chabad yeshiva is taking off, fast! Started in memory of the late Rabbi Motti Gal, the head shliach of Ramat Gan, the program is geared for bochurim from religious homes who need an alternative to the regular yeshiva system.
Catered meals and newly renovated facilities and grounds in the beautiful suburb of Ramat Gan make it an enjoyable learning experience spiritually as well as physically.
The full year school program for bochurim ages 16-18, is starting its second successful year this Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan. They will once again be offering a full Chassidus and Nigleh curriculum, including a hands-on Smicha program. Already in our first year, four bochurim have received smicha, under Rabbi Yuroslavski.
Our brilliant staff comprised of young Rabbis and bochur-shluchim dedicate themselves to making sure every student gets the attention that he needs and the answers to his questions. (The Chassidus curriculum, being bolstered by Rabbi Simon Jacobson as part of a new project for The Meaningful life Center promises to be hands- on and informative.)
A crucial part of our education is enabling our students to develop the qualities of leadership needed in a world that looks to the young to lead. The program offers highly advanced music and computer programming courses which are implemented in numerous shlichus/mivtzoyim projects during the course of the year.
An atmosphere of responsibility and pride is fostered, through the shlichus projects, including tefillin campaigns, organized food distribution to the needy, arranging concerts and community events and even opportunities to tutor younger underprivileged children.
Bochurim from all over the world come to learn Torah in a way that can be applied to their futures.
