Yeshiva Gedola of Cincinnati – (Kayitz), under Rabbi Levi Simpson, was a unique summer program catering for serious boys – Zal age – that were looking to have a place to learn seriously during the summer.
They had in depth shiurim in Nigla and Chassidus and Hilchos Beis Habchira. This is in addition to the Farbrengens and Mivtzoim in the city.
The highlight of the program was a special “Siyum”, which celebrated that learning of the complete Maseches megilla by heart by many of the Talmidim. Rabbi Simpson gave each of the Talmidim a special reward.
