Yeshivas Lubavitch Cincinnati, under the directorship of Rabbi Gershon Avtzon continues its’ inspirational month of Kislev. On Thursday, the Bachurim were happily surprised to see many special guests – Talmidei Hashluchim of the past years – that flew in to spend Shabbas in the Yeshiva. There was a lively Farbrengen for the Talmidim of the Beis Midrash that night led by hatamim Menachem Mendel Turen.

From Friday morning, the preparations for Shabbas were in Full gear. The amazing group of Talmidei Hashluchim coordinating with the Menahel Gashmi, Rabbi Eli Morrison prepared special food for Shabbas and set it up in a very special way in a hall near the Yeshiva. The boys enjoyed a extra-lebedike Marriv, Divrei Torah and Niggunim and a special farbrengen with Rabbi Eli Simspon, the famous senior Maggid Shiur in the Yeshiva. A special Thank you to hatamim My’d wolf for his constant involvement and dedication.

The seder on Shabbas, led by the Menahel Ruchni Rabbi Menachem Benarrouse was filled with Hasmada and anticipation for Motzei Shabbas. On Motzei Shabbas, the Shluchim – and a bunch of Bachurim – prepared a real wedding feast Melave Malka – and special “Chupa” – for the Talmidim. Divrei Torah were said by Rabbi Levi Simpson, Menahel Ruchni of Beis Midrash, and Rabbi Zalman Baras, the senior Mashpia in Yeshiva. After Dancing (and Kiddush Levana) – music by hatamim Hashliach Mendel Krauss – and Bentching, the annual “14 Kislev Farbrengen” , led by Rabbi Gershon Avtzon started and was well attended till the wee hours of the morning. The talmidim walked away strengthened in their Hiskashrus and committed to their Shlichus of getting themselves – and those around them – prepared to be Mekabel Moshiach Tzidkeinu!
