Springfield Enjoys Fun-filled Picnic
Chabad of Springfield, IL, directed by Rabbi and Mrs. Mendy Turen, had a Kosher Deli Picnic in honor of Lag B’Omer at the beautiful Lincoln Park. It was very nice that over 80 people came to enjoy the great deli sandwiches. It was very nice that over 80 people came to enjoy the great deli sandwiches. The Lag B’Omer bonfire was very exciting, especially roasting marshmallows at the end of the event to make delicious s’mores.
Everyone enjoyed the live music, played by Yitzchok Zirkind from Chicago, the great singing by Phil Steinberg and the grand magic show by Eldon Roark.
