This past Shabbos a group from Release Time Q206 went on an exciting Shabbaton to the spacious campgrounds of Camp Chayolei Hamelech located in the Pocono Mountains.
The Shabbaton gave the boys a chance to experience a real Shabbos, together with a fun overnight camp feeling. The boys got to hear many stories and words of inspiration about the soul we have inside of us, and about being proud that we are Jewish no matter who we hang around. They prayed and heard the reading of the Torah, and of course got used to walking around and playing with a Kippa and Tzitzit.
Among the fun things on the Shabbaton was sports games, swimming in the huge swimming pool, relaxing in the jacuzzi, biking on the mountain and valleys along the scenic Delaware river, hiking and wading in natural creeks, building and sitting by a large bonfire, making a BBQ, and many other activities.
May we merit to start the new school year in Yerushalayim with the coming of Moshiach now!
