The United Israel Appeal (UIA) hosted a luncheon for the Rabbinical Council of Victoria (RCV) this week, in appreciation of the Victorian Rabbinate’s long standing support of the UIA Kol Nidrei Appeal.

RCV members were addressed by Mr Shlomo Werdiger, President UIA and UIA representatives who presented on the organization’s work with high schools and youngsters from needy homes and UIAs Youth Future’s program which assigns mentors who are a model and friend’s to the children.

The luncheon was followed by a Special General Meeting of the RCV.
