On Monday evening 19 Kislev, more than a 100 old students packed into Studio262 on Kingston Avenue to join with Rabbi Avraham Lipskier, the well-known Moshpia and founder of the Morristown Tiferes Bochurim and Seagate Yeshivas in a Hakhel Farbrengen. Joining him were Rabbi Abba Paltiel, Rabbi Yosef Greenberg and Rabbi Dovid Pape.
The evening celebrated Rabbi Lipskier’s colorful leadership in the Baal Teshuva movement, which began while still learning in 770. Young Rabbi Lispkier would greet and learn with all sorts of “spiritual seekers” who wandered into 770 to taste the wellsprings of Chassidus, and to learn about the Rebbe. Rabbi Lipskier has taught and influenced thousands of students, represented at the farbrengen by the wide range of grey and black bearded Chassidim from their 20s to 70s!
Studio262 is a new creative space in Crown Heights dedicated to spreading Chassidus via innovative film projects. For more information you can contact its founder Rabbi Reuven Flamer at [email protected].
