The Mara D’asra of Kfar Chabad, Rabbi Meir Ashkenazi, has released a public letter addressing the security crisis, calling on residents to recite Tehillim 20, 22, 69, and 130 after Shacharis.

In addition, after reciting the 12 pesukim in kindergartens and elementary schools, the Rav calls on them to recite the Pasuk ‘מפי עוללים וגו” with the children.

Rav Ashkenazi then turns to residents, calling on them to stop employing Arab construction workers during the crisis.

The Rav calls on residents to suspend working with Arab construction workers during the crisis, or at least provide an armed security guard to oversee the construction workers.

He asks them to join the community’s security patrol, for those capable of doing so, emphasizing one who cannot suspend working with Arabs in the coming days must place an armed guard in the area.

Nice if The Israeli Government would not hire Arabs. The government is terrified of world opinion and would rather put their brothers in harm’s way than buck the nations, stand up and be proud. Change the government!

It is not enough to watch ones’ workers while they are at work, but unfortunately, all arabs require supervision coming to their place of work and returning to their villages. Most acts of terror recently have been at or around our bus stops, train stops, and on our public buses! It would be better to simply not to hire arabs at all, and bring in and pay other foreigners that do not harbor any grudges against us to do the work for us if we can’t hire Jews to do it. Personally, I would rather pay a bit more, and give the money to a Jew instead!
