Tishrei is right around the corner and Eshel – Hachnosas Orchim, directed by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hacohen Hendel extends a warm welcome to all Bochurim, Anash and girls from every Yeshiva and community.
The organization, which was founded by Rabbi Moshe Yeruslavsky, OB”M, has received encouragement from the Rebbe throughout the years, and is now a large operation with many volunteers under the direction of Rabbi Hendel.
The organization has grown tremendously over the years, and today it is considered one of the largest Chesed institutions in the world, thanks to its main sponsor R’ Sholom Ber Drizin, alongside his son Rabbi Moshe Drizin.
Among the departments of Eshel one can find the ‘Gashmius’ Department that provides three meals each day to the thousands of guests, and alongside it there is the ‘Ruchniyus’ Department in charge of learning and Farbrengens, the Medical Department taking care of emergencies, and the Lodging Department.
