Have you ever wondered…
How does Chassidus apply to me after I get married with so many responsibilities?
How can learning Chassidus improve relationships with my family members, spouse and co-workers?
Chassidus seems theoretical and not applicable to the here and now; what can I do to make Chassidus real and applicable in my life?
Marriage in the heart of Chassidus (Mithoc), a non-profit organization, was founded to bring Chassidus into the home: by applying Chassidus in an accessible way that is exciting, practical and, above all, very relevant.
Our mission is to provide usable tools for integrating Chassidus in daily life. Our first area of focus is marriage and how to engage in a relationship through the lens of Chassidus. Specifically, we will look at our relationship with Hashem as a paradigm for maintaining a successful relationship with our loved ones.
Our vision is to enable every Jew to discover and access the essence of Chassidus and the Torah in a practical and relevant manner, and continue to implement the practical aspect of Chassidus on one’s own.
To accomplish this goal, we offer a number of resources:
- Shabbatons/Inspirational weekends
Getting together, farbrenging, and engaging in eye-opening workshops; packed with great food in a quiet, comfortable, and enjoyable atmosphere. Our first Shabbaton will be for older bochurim and chassanim, י”ג אלול / the 24th of August,in Queens.
The Shabbaton will feature talented, respected mashpiim including renowned speaker and writer Rabbi Shais Taub. Rabbi Taub has a special ability to bring the deepest levels of Chassidus very much down to earth. He will also be available after the Shabbaton to speak one-on-one. We are offering the Shabbaton for only a cost of $325 for the weekend, in gratitude to our sponsors with limited scholarships.

The positive feedback that is being received from Lubavitch communities is overwhelming! Rabbanim, Mashpiim, and Michanchim that have heard about Mithoc are very positive and supportive. The time is more than ripe for a new energy and support to created and focused inward towards our own community. We are very excited to be a continuing resource and support for those in need.
