The stabbing took place inside the Finkelstein Library, located at 24 Chestnut St in Spring Valley.
According to reports, the victim was a non-Jewish employee of the library.
After the attack, Jewish employees at the library held down the stabber until Ramapo police arrived and arrested the suspect.
The victim was treated on scene by Monsey Hatzolah and was in traumatic arrest.
