Earlier this morning, Friday, Rabbi Mendel Deitsch of Eretz Yisroel, was found unconscious and in serious condition in Zhytomyr, Ukraine.
The exact details have not been confirmed, however initial reports show that he seems to have been robbed near the local train station.
Rabbi Moshe Reuven Azman of Kiev has arranged top doctors to be of aid, has been reported.
Rabbi Shlomo Wilhelm of Zhytomyr is said to be with Deitsch in the hospital, overlooking the care.
