Despite weather predictions, close to 100 people showed up to celebrate Purim with the Flavor of Israel.
The event was great with delicious Israeli food and music with Israeli décor and crafts. Children made cards for the soldiers of the IDF thanking them for protecting the Jewish People, squeezed fresh orange juice, had a caricature done of them and we all had an amazing Martial Arts Krav Maga interactive demonstration enjoyed by kids and adults alike.
The dancing was great! Thank you all for coming and a special thank you to the following people for all their help: Yosef Naftali and Chaya Mushka Borenstein for making the signs for the various activities, Golda Botnick and Rivka Lazarus for coming from Monsey to help us – you were amazing – Thank you! Michael Ben Ezra for doing everything and anything that needed to be done.
For our entertainers – Our musician Tzvi Rimler, caricaturist Chris Tucci and Sensai Yuri Milshtein who braved weather conditions down south to make it here. We truly thank you all. We couldn’t have done it without you! May we draw down simcha for the entire year and may we see miracles today as in the days of Purim!
