Hundreds of the Rebbe MH”M’s Shluchim flooded Almaty, Kazakhstan for a very special, grand Kinus Hashluchim. The event gathered Shluchim from all over the former Soviet Union and Europe for a weekend of chizuk, commencing with the holy day of 20 Av.
Countless hours of preparation work from both the teams of Kazakstan’s Chief Rabbi Yeshaya Elazar Cohen and Russia’s Chief Rabbi Berl Lazar in order to make a successful kinus.
The Shluchim arrived in the luxury Rixos Hotel in Downtown Almaty. Once settled ad registered, they began their program of davening, learning, and inspiring and invigorating sessions. K’Ish echad b’lev echad, the Shluchim proceeded to the Ohel of Horav Hachossid Hamekubal Levy Yitzchok Shneerson, father of the Rebbe MH”M to daven for success on their Shlichus.
Following their program at the Ohel, the Shluchim traveled back to their hotel to continue their sessions and enjoy a luxurious, hearty meal.
