Historic Siyum Sefer Torah in Jerusalem
Last week a historic Siyum Sefer Torah took place in Jerusalem. The Siyum was organized by Rabbi Ami Paikovsky, in memory of Jewish underground leader Avraham (Yair) Stern HY”D and fellow Lehi fighter former Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir.The Rebbe’s secretary, Rabbi Yehuda Leib Groner, addressed the crowd. Last week a historic Siyum Sefer Torah took place in Jerusalem. The Siyum was organized by Rabbi Ami Paikovsky, in memory of Jewish underground leader Avraham (Yair) Stern HY”D and fellow Lehi fighter former Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir. The event was honored with the presence of Reuven Rivlin, President of Israel, as well as Minister Yair Shamir.
The Rebbe’s secretary, Rabbi Yehuda Leib Groner, addressed the crowd, as well as former Israeli Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau.
