Avremi was known as a warm and happy person whose smile and positive attitude was contagious to all who crossed his path. He dedicated many years in Sutton where he was known to bring life and fun to yiddishkeit for people of all ages. In the more recent years he worked with Jewish youth, sharing his love for Torah. He taught shiurim, spread the idea of “Sheva Mitzvos Bnei Noach” to students in public schools and made CD’s about Tefilla and love of davening. His warmth and sincerity touched all he reached, inspiring them through the many programs that he ran bringing yiddishkeit to life in a fun way. He always had a listening ear and people enjoyed being around him because they felt that he truly cared about them.

Avremi was diagnosed with an illness and after a few short months his life was taken. Even throughout his illness his spirit and attitude was upbeat and positive filled with Emunah, his last hours were spent singing joyous songs with his children.  Over the past few months his family has spent a significant amount of money on various treatments and now his wife Shternie needs to make sure that she can continue to raise her family providing all she can during these trying times.

Avremi’s family is extremely thankful for the all the support and kindness that the community has shown during this difficult time. Avremi was an exceptionally giving person who was always available to anyone who needed his support in any way. His family, who lives in a similar vein, is now without a breadwinner, and you can take part in the zechus of sharing and raising this special family so that they can follow in their father’s footsteps and continue to live in the way which he inspired them. By continuing to show your support you can give back to someone who gave so much to the communities he served and help his family continue to spread his light to all.
