An Orthodox Jewish man is in serious condition after he was stabbed in Midtown Manhattan, near the Empire State Building, on Monday afternoon.
The 32-year-old victim was walking on 33rd Street and 5th Avenue when he accidentally bumped into a FedEx employee. They got into an altercation which resulted in the FedEx employee stabbing the Jewish man at least 4 times.
Authorities said the attack happened about 1:40 p.m. on Fifth Avenue and 33rd Street.
He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital where he is listed in critical condition, he is expected to survive.
The suspect was quickly taken into custody by the NYPD.
