When Bnos Chomesh Academy, Chabad Girls Academy, the Gan Academy, and Ocean Parkway ULY, were approached with the possibility of getting together for a joint fundraising campaign (beginning this Monday), they weren’t totally sold on the idea.
How would it all work?
Sure they were all badly in need of funds to stay up and running, so why not just run separate campaigns? But as they spoke, it became abundantly clear that they shared much more than the need for a Charidy campaign.
They all shared a holistic approach to education that is based on love and respect. Where each child is accepted as they are, no matter what, and given the tools and skills they need to thrive in the classroom, at home, and out in the world, where they are instilled with good Middos and manners, alongside the learning of Chassidus, Torah, and general studies.
They understand that giving a child a strong foundation, and the tools to build on it is perhaps the greatest gift an educator can provide because it allows them to look forward to and shape the future.
And that’s when it all clicked.
This wasn’t just about their school, their passionate staff, or their building. This was about the future of our entire community. This was about the four hundred students who wake up every day excited to learn and grow.
This is about the future of a generation.
But that future can’t happen without our entire community coming together as one, just as these schools did, to unite for a common goal, and the common good of all our children.
Going live this Monday at 10 am, every dollar you give will have an immediate and vital impact. please share, and give generously at https://www.charidy.com/future.
It’s up to you to empower the next generation.
