Friends and family of Avraham Dovid Liberow and Pesha Leah, gathered at Chabad of Flatbush to mark their seventh Yahrtzeit this past Wednesday evening.
Rabbi Zalman Liberow greeted the crowd and expressed gratitude to Hashem for the survival of himself and his family.
He also made special mention of Nachshon Rabayev, who’s Shloshim was marked the same evening. A young member of the Chabad house, he was a power-house of Jewish inspiration for his many friends and relatives.
Rabbi Yosef Vigler of Mayan Yisroel then eloquently addressed the audience, explaining the idea of Techiyas Hameisim.
He expounded on the very origin of death, explaining that it was Hashem’s way of ensuring that the sin of Adam and Chava would not endure forever.
Their sin was giving up their purity and innocence by pursuing forbidden knowledge; the result being death.
“Now, after thousands of years of intense spiritual refinement and transformation of this knowledge, the time has finally come to return to the original plan – where life means eternal life, with a pure and innocent faith in G-d.”
Rabbi Vigler’s talk was followed by the viewing of a passionate sicha in which the Rebbe encourages every single Jew to play an active role in bringing about the revelation of Moshiach.
The event concluded with the unveiling of plans for a special 3D video experience, already in the production stage, which will present the Rebbe’s message of Moshiach to large audiences of NYF teenagers in the USA and abroad.
The participants left inspired to do more to bring Moshiach so we can reunite with our loved ones immediately!
