    EY: Russia’s Chief Rabbi Visits Zhitomir Orphanage

    On a visit to Eretz Yisroel, Rabbi Berel Lazar visited the ‘Alumim’ orphanage, currently resettled in the village of Nes Harim outside of Beit Shemesh. He spoke to Western Ukraine’s Chief Rabbi Shlomo Wilhelm, who updated him on the situation both there and on the ground in Zhitomir. Rabbi Wilhelm left Zhitomir last Friday, fleeing to Romania and arriving in Israel Sunday morning • Photos
