Last Sunday, Bris Avrohom had the privilege to assist and enter two Jewish men; a 12-year-old and 42-year-old into the Bris of Avraham.
As the name of the organization is Bris Avrohom, a name that was chosen and named by the Rebbe 39 years ago, just like we recently read the Torah portion about the Bris of Avrohom, so to on the day of the Kinus Hashluchim Bris Avrohom performed two Brissin.
At a Bris Mila we say the blessing: כשם שנכנס לברית – כן יכנס לתורה ולחופה…”- Just as he has entered into the Covenant, so may he enter into Torah, into marriage…”.
As Bris Avrohom is preparing for its 39th Annual Dinner, they are assisting eight couples to get married this Sunday, upon the advice of the Rebbe in 1985 to Bris Avrohom to make gala weddings, this Sunday will be their 33rd gala wedding, to date Bris Avrohom has married off 950 couples.
