As every Shliach makes some sort of event on Lag B’Omer, Rabbi Aron Ginsberg Shliach to Boro Park, New York, as well makes an event.
The event started with a few thousand boys marching up 18th Ave. holding posters and singing along with the music. The parade was led by police motor bikes and a marching band.
The parade ended at the park with over 10,000 chairs set up for the grand rally. The children said the 12 Psukim, sang Niggunim, heard Divrei Torah, watched a beautiful presentation of the famous story of the Schwei brothers, and then were surprised with the highlight of the event when the youngest boy in the story, Harav Aharon Yaakov Schwei walked up on stage and spoke to the children.
Every child walked out of the event knowing clearly the theme of this year’s parade: “I am standing ready”!
