The Bazel Kosher Ice Cream Truck announced today that it has sold all its assets to Cones, another operator of kosher ice cream trucks owned by Binyamin Yitzhakov, ahead of the spring and summer ice cream seasons.
The Bazel family served ice cream to countless happy children, and adults, for 12 years from a fleet of 8 trucks, recognizable by their distinctive jingle, “Come and make a bracha…”
“We’re grateful for the years of loyalty from our many customers. It was a joy to make people happy with our ice cream,” says Yaniv Bazel. “After so many years of doing this, we’re looking forward to new and exciting projects.”
Cones will lease the Bazel jingle, sung by Chaim Fogelman, so at least the Brooklyn summer will sound familiar, even if the ice cream truck is different.
