On Sunday, 26 Cheshvan, a conference entitled “Moshiach for America” is planned for Shluchim. The conference is specifically geared towards Shluchim who work with English-speaking crowds, and will address creative and effective methods of disseminating the message of Moshiach to American Jewry, all while gaining practical tools for success on their Shlichus.
The event will take place in the Nemes Hall, 309 New York Ave. (between Eastern Parkway and Union Street), at 12:30 p.m., and is arranged by the Vaad Hakinus, under the auspices of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch.
According to the program released by the Kinus, the conference will feature prominent Shluchim and lecturers who will offer their wisdom and experience on the topic. Among those are Rabbi Gershon Avtzon of Cincinnati, OH on “Moshiach: In It to Win It”; Rabbi Yossi Rodal of Carlsbad, CA, on “Big Goals, Small Expectations”; and Rabbi Boaz Vituk of Colorado Springs, CO, on “Increasing Financial Revenues”.
The event will be moderated by Rabbi Yehuda Spritzer of Monroe, NJ. A hearty brunch is being prepared for all the Shluchim participating in this unique event.
