Two terrorists, Zuheib and Salam Sultan, planned a double terror attack on the Beis Chabad in Chevron. They were arrested and charged with attempted murder and other offenses by a military court.
The two had prepared a gas balloon filled with gunpowder, metal screws and nails, and a pipe bomb. They planned to throw the pipe bomb at the Chabad House to lure the soldiers stationed at the pillbox nearby and then detonate the balloon bomb, which Zoheib had placed at the entrance of the Beis Chabad, causing massive deaths and destruction.
Their motive was revenge on the IDF Tzuk Eitan Campaign and the killing of Muhamad Abu Khadir.
After throwing the pipe bomb, Zuheib hid, and two soldiers appeared on the scene. Zuheib pressed on the remote control; by sheer miracle the device was faulty and the balloon bomb failed to explode. Both men remain in prison until the end of the proceedings.
The seudas hodaya will take place next Thursday, 5:00 pm there will be a special prayer by the kever of Rebbetzin Menucha Rochel followed by the meal at 6:00 at the Gutnick hall.
