Dozens of OYYL students, parents, educators, and friends gathered to light the Menorah in the front yard of the Yeshiva on the corner of Eastern Parkway and Albany.
The Menorah Lighting was joined with a Chanukah Celebration, where students performed and had interactive workstations. Families greatly enjoyed to make their own Latkas from scratch, decorate doughnuts, make their own leather Chanukah Gelt pouch, hammer their own Draidel, and even make an oil Lava Lamp.
All children participated were in a grand raffle winning Chanukah prizes and books.
All activities were highly engaging and families spent great quality time together.
