Dozens of Crown Heights families joined an Open House for Chassidic Expressions Art and Music school held last evening. Families had a chance to meet with teachers as well as try musical instruments and different Art Medium.
Families enjoyed live Music band with Mr. Hershel Gelman and Efraim Shwab.
Dana Pestun and Hadas Brandwein performed with violin and guitar for girls classes.
It has been an evening of inspiration and exploration for children of all ages. Children had hands-on experience with art and music and were amassed to see what could be done with their own hand.
Chassidic Expressions Art and Music school is designed to enrich children’s Education through various hands-on experiences of Performing and Expressive Arts. The main goal of the Program is to inspire young children to engage in creative and meaningful activities in afternoons which positively effects their healthy growth and development.
The program is suitable for boys and girls (separate classes) ages 4-15 and featuring following classes: Music: Flute, Cello, Guitar, Viola, Violin, Piano/Keyboard, Drums, Choir, Mandolin, Trumpets, Clarinet and Saxophone.
Art: Painting/Drawing, Woodworking/Crafts, Origami/Paper Engineering, Sculpturing/Pottery, Sewing/Knitting/Crochet, Macramé/Hemming, Drama/Puppet show, Chess Club.
Classes are taught by Professional Teachers. All teaching materials and content are based on “Al Taharas Hakodesh” and design to enrich and empower children in our community.
