Today at about 6:45 a Lubavitcher was taken by Hatzalah to the hospital after being hit in the face. ChabadInfo.com interviewed a bystander:
I was there and saw the whole thing. The guy was picking a fight with anybody who walked by, myself included, just shouting “[expletive] Jews” etc.
So Yisrolik approached him and tried to calm him down. It wasn’t physical at all and he was even somewhat cooperative, until he suddenly punched Yisrolik in the face. At that point everybody standing by watching charged at the guy.
A few moments later Hatzalah arrived and treated him and then taking him to the hospital.
The police came and arrested him, while checking him they took away a bottle of alcohol.
