Lubavitch Yeshiva Holds Father and Son Farbrengen
In honor of the Chag Hageulah of the Mitteler Rebbe whose very life was Chassidus, a Father and Son Chassidus program was held in United Lubavitcher Yeshiva for the 7th and 8th grades. In the morning, fathers came with their sons to learn a Maamar Chassidus and Daven Shachris together. Upon conclusion of the Chassidus learning, Menahel Rabbi Yosef Simpson delivered an overview of the Maamar adding clarity and emphasizing the practical aspects of the Maamar. The Farbrengen was emceed by principal Rabbi Yosef Wolf. Hatomim Moshe Dovid Junik led the recitation of the Rebbe’s Kapitel. Fathers and sons joined Baal Menagen Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Shmueli in singing the Mitteler Rebbe’s Kapelya, accompanied by Hatomim Yehuda Fehler on the keyboard.
A parent Rabbi Shimon Chyrek shared words of Chassidus of the Mitteler Rebbe and Hatomim Eli Yanni shared a story of the Mitteler Rebbe along with its timeless lesson.
The Talmidim and their parents joined in harmony as they sang Pada B’shalom, accompanied by Habochur Zalmy Chanowitz on the keyboard. The singing spontaneously transformed into lively dancing “Va’ani Evtach Boch” as fathers and sons danced together around the tables.
Reliving the story of the day, the fathers and sons watched the “Yud Kislev – Arrest & Liberation” video performed by the Temimim of Lubavitcher Yeshiva.
It was immensely uplifting to see the smiles on the Talmidim’s faces having the opportunity to spend time with their fathers in their Yeshiva.
