Anticipation builds for Sunday’s final showdown. Students from around the world took part in an exciting competition, this year once again.
Today, the children woke up early, Davened in 770 and had a satisfying breakfast before taking the final test, that will determine who shall win a gold, silver, or bronze medal in today’s competition.
Students from all around the world competed head-on over the Halachos of the Sefer Hamitzvos of the Rambam. The finalists from schools around the world traveled to Crown Heights to compete in a finale before a mass crowd, of hundreds of people.
The main event, which included a performance by some of the Jewish stars entertaining the crowd, and a jeopardy style competition between three teams of students took place in the George Wingate Public School of Crown Heights.
The competition comes as per the Rebbe’s request to unite Yidden and especially children, through the study of the Mitzvos of the Torah. The Rebbe repeatedly emphasized that this effort will hasten the coming of Moshiach, and this event should indeed be the last event that will tip the scale and bring Moshiach now!
