Yud Aleph Nissan – 120 in Brooklyn started wet and gray, yet as the Tzivos Hashem rally parked outside 770 progressed, the clouds parted and the sun shone. 121 fully loaded mitzvah tanks drove regally down Kingston Avenue, turning onto a blocked off Eastern Parkway, officially kicking off an unprecedented, historical event of massive proportions. For temimim there is no better way to commence the auspicious day of Yud Aleph Nissan – 120 than by learning the Rebbe’s Torah. That is exactly how over 1,000 temimim from across the globe did last night in Beis Chayenu, the Rebbe MH”M’s daled amos. The program was capped off with a raffle for two dollars from the Rebbe’s holy hand, but not before the entire room broke out in an earthshaking cry of “ad mosai!?!” Images captured by ChabadInfo.com photographer Dov Ber Hechtman • Photos
Months of preparation has led up to this moment, when the world entered Yud Aleph Nissan – 120. The spirit of the Rebbe MH”M’s 120th birthday could be felt in an incredibly tangible way as thousands packed into 770’s large shul to daven with the Rebbe’s minyan Maariv. The large shul in Beis Chayenu was simply packed from wall to wall by a sea of anash and temimim, many of whom travelled to Crown Heights specially to mark the auspicious 120th birthday of the Rebbe MH”M. The thousands gathered not only heard from a lineup of inspiring, energizing speakers, but also enjoyed stirring musical accompaniment. A truly historic moment happened somewhat discreetly in the back of 770’s large shul as a group of bochurim, together with Rabbi Zalman Chanin of Vaad Lehafatzos Sichos, printed the 8,000th edition of Tanya just a day before the Rebbe’s 120th birthday • Photos

A seemingly endless crowd of people gathered in front of Beis Chayenu in a beautiful show of unity in the leadup to the Rebbe MH”M’s 120th birthday. Those gathered heard from not only some of Chabad’s finest singers and musicians, but also speakers of the likes of Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Rabbi Moshe Moscowitz, and Rabbi Aharon Ginsberg, who loudly and energetically proclaimed “Yechi Hamelech” at the climax of an emotional plea for the hisgalus of the Rebbe MH”M. The crowd at the Rebbe MH”M’s minyan Shachris was noticeably significantly larger than usual, as visitors pour into the neighborhood for the auspicious day of Yud Aleph Nissan, celebrating the Rebbe’s 120th birthday. The excitement can be felt tangibly in the air as anash and tememim davened with a fervor and energy reserved for special times such as now. Images captured by photographer Dov Ber Hechtman • Photos
It was a night to remember this past Wednesday, when the energetic temimim of kvutzah 5782 brought their mekuravim from weekly Friday mivtzoim for an enjoyable and uplifting evening in the Rebbe’s daled amos. The hundreds of mekuravim, mostly Hebrew speakers, who work in many locations around the New York metro area, eagerly await their bochurim every Friday for a quick spiritual boost. In honor of of Yud Aleph Nissan – 120 their weekly visitors were finally able to bring them to the source, 770, from which the wellsprings pour forth not only to the metro area, but to the whole world.
