For the first time in Playa del Carmen and on the 13th anniversary of the Chabad of Playa del Carmen activity, a New Sefer Torah was Dedicated in Honor of the Rebbe’s 120th Birthday year. The sefer Torah was donated by The Sousana Family from Paris France, for The Chabad house in the resort town of Playa del Carmen in Mexico, led by the Rebbe’s Shliach Rabbi Mendel Goldberg. The writing of the last letters took place in the Chabad house, after which the tourists and guests went out to the town streets for a parade in honor of Torah.
