With great sadness we report the untimely passing of Rabbi Shaul Yossef Benchimol, at the age of 65, after a long and debilitating illness.
Rabbi Benchimol served as one of the first Shluchim of the Rebbe to Paris, founding the “Ha’aderet V’haemuna” Chabad outreach organization, bringing hundreds of families closer to Judaism, many of them becoming Shluchim.
In 2008, he was interviewed by Beis Moshiach, recounting his life, from the world of movies and theatres to the world of Shlichus:
