With great sadness and pain we inform you of the untimely passing of Mrs. Rivky Berman, OB”M, daughter of Connecticut Shluchim Rabbi Yisroel and Vivi Deren. She was 29 years old.
Rivky was born and raised in Stamford, Connecticut, where her parents serve as Chabad Shluchim.
Despite her lifelong medical challenges, she was always in a positive spirit and working to help others, including her many hours dedicated to children with special.
A few years ago she got married to Shmuly Berman in Stamford in a joyous wedding attended by Shluchim and guests from around the world.
She is survived by her husband, parents, siblings, uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews and the family of Shluchim.
She was predeceased by her brother Rabbi Mendy Deren, 36.
The levaya will take place on Tuesday.
