With great sadness we regret to inform you of the passing of Rabbi Tzvi Dov (Herschel) Scheiner, OB”M, a long-time resident of Crown Heights. He passed away on Sunday, the 4th of Nissan. He was 80-years-old.
Reb Herschel was a Schochet in the community, he was involved in Chesed work for families in need and worked for many years for Tzivos Hashem.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Devorah Scheiner, and their children Shuey Scheiner – Crown Heights; Faigy Brafman – Crown Heights; Zippy Furst – Cederhust, NY; and Chani Sheiner – Los Angeles, CA; as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
