    With great sadness we regret to inform you of the passing of Reb Boruch Gopin, OB”M, of Kfar Chabad, Eretz Yisroel. He was 95-years-old.

    Reb Boruch was born to Reb Aron and Baila Gopin in Charkov, Ukraine in 5684, and was raised with great Mesiras Nefesh.

    Fleeing from the KGB, the family moved to Tashkent. He and his family left the Soviet Union with hundreds of others in 5706.

    After the war, he married Neshe, the daughter of Reb Moshe Zalman Kaminetzky. After staying in Paris for a while, he later came to Eretz Yisroel, where he soon joined the founding group of settlers there.

    Reb Boruch was a member of the Va’ad of Kfar Chabad, where he was responsible for the development of the village.

    He is survived by his children, Avrohom Gopin – Crown Heights; Mendel Gopin – Kfar Chabad; Zelig Gopin – Kfar Chabad; Yossel Gopin – Kfar Chabad; Basya Kastel – Rechovot, ER”Y; Rivi Moshkovitz – Kfar Chabad; Taibi Gurevitch – Kfar Chabad; Shterna Dubroskin – Kfar Chabad; Risha Vilenkin – Kfar Chabad and Henya Schapiro – Crown Heights. He is also survived by many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

    He was predeceased by his wife, Mrs. Neshe (nee Kaminetzky) Gopin .

    The Levaya will take place in Eretz Yisroel.
