With great sadness we regret to inform you of the passing of Rabbi Yanky (Yaakov Aharon) Korf, OB”M, a member of the Crown Heights community. He passed away on Sunday night, the 19th of Nissan. He was 62-years-old.
He is survived by his wife Batya, and children, Chanie Zirkind, Menachem Korf and Zalmy Korf.
He is also survived by his siblings, Rabbi Yossi Korf – Crown Heights; Mrs. Sara Kessler – Montreal, Canada; Rabbi Sholom Ber Korf – Delray Beach, FL; Mrs. Dini Ciment – Boynton Beach, FL; and Rabbi Alter Korf – S. Petersburg, FL.
The Levaya will take place Monday afternoon.
