With great sadness we inform you of the untimely passing of Rabbi Tzvi Lider, OB”M, a member of the Lubavitch community of Lod, Eretz Yisroel. He passed away on Shabbos, 15 Cheshvan. He has a brother and son who live in Crown Heights.
He was 65 and had been battling a terrible illness in recent months.
Rabbi Lider is a known prominent member of the Lubavitch community in Lod, who has always been a Baal Chesed. After being diagnosed with a terrible illness a few months ago, he traveled to Houston, TX for treatment.
He is survived by his wife Rochel and children Dubi Lider – Elad; Yossi Lider – Crown Heights; Dovid Lider – Melbourne, Australia; Shneur Lider – Beitar Ilit; Shauli Lider – Kfar Chabad; Moishy Lider – Rishon Letzion; Chani Krishevsky – Lod; and Shira Litzman – Nachalas Har Chabad.
He is also survived by his siblings, Shlomo Lider – Williamsburg, NY; Yaakov Lider – Melbourne, Australia; Avrohom Lider – Crown Heights; Nechama Brichter – Yerushalayim; Malka Kaplan – Yerushalayim; and Yehuda Lider – Jerusalem.
The levaya in NY will pass by 770 tomorrow, Sunday on the way to burial in Eretz Yisroel.
