With great sadness we regret to inform you of the passing of Rabbi Tzvi Abba Lerman, OB”M, a longtime member of the Crown Heights community. He passed away Friday, Tes Nissan. He was 87-years-old.
R’ Tzvi Abba was very involved in Chunich, and spent his life educating children in different cities around the country.
He is survived by his children Rabbi Mendel Lerman – Crown Heights; Rabbi Gershon Lerman – Crown Heights; Rabbi Yosef Lerman – Norcross, GA; Mrs. Rikva Kaminker – Crown Heights; Mrs. Miriam Gurary – Crown Heights; Mrs. Nechama Dina Futerfas – Crown Heights; and Chaya Baila Friedman – S. Cruz, CA; as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is also survived by his siblings; Eta Cohen, Menachem Lerman, Rochel Schapiro, Leibush Lerman, Yosef Lerman, and Miriam Friedman.
