With great sadness we inform you of the untimely passing of Rabbi Michael Nimni, OB”M, a longtime member of the Crown Heights community and Rabbi of a local Crown Heights Shul. He was 65-years-old.
He passed away early Shabbos morning, 21 Tammuz, just after 1:00 in the morning.
Rabbi Nemni also ran a Kollel that he opened shortly after receiving the Rebbe’s Bracha, of which many of the yungerleit who learned in his Kollel are now Shluchim of the Rebbe.
He is survived by his wife, Rabbanit Tziviah, and children Rachamim, Rabbi Yaakov, Moshe, Yosef Chaim, Meir Shalom, Shimon Refael, Baruch Yisrael, Avraham, Dovid Shem Tov, Yehuda, Shlomit Orah, Sara Simcha, Geulah Rina, Leah Rivka, Esther Chana, Mazal Tov and Penina.
The Levaya will take place tomorrow, Sunday, leaving from Shomrei Hadas Chapels at around 12:00 pm and passing by 770 at around 12:45 pm, on the way to burial in Eretz Yisroel.
