With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Rabbi Yechiel Michel Yehuda Leib (Leibel) Zalmanov, OB”M, of Bnei Brak. He passed away on Monday, 25 Teves. He was one of the elder Lubavitchers of Eretz Yisroel and has two children in Crown Heights.
Rabbi Zalmanov was an exemplary Chossid and a pioneer in Hafotzas HaMaayonos in the early years.
He is survived by his wife and children, Rabbi Eliezer Zalmanov – Crown Heights, Rabbi Shmulik Zalmanov – Kfar Chabad, Mrs. Lider – Bnei Brak, Mrs. Bloi – Yerushalayim, Mrs. Kesselman- Crown Heights; he is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The levaye will leave his home in Bnei Brak for kevurah in Tzfas.
