With great sadness and pain we inform you of the untimely passing of R’ Mendel Brikman, OB”M, a young father and a member of the Crown Heights community. He was 43 years old.
He passed away today, Sunday, Hoshana Rabbah, 5777.
Mendel was a large character, with a friendly manner and loved by everyone who knew him. He was the original owner of the Kingston Avenue shop – Sterling Electronics.
He had been battling an illness for a number of years, but he never let it get in the way of his easy smile and reaching out to still help others.
He is survived by his wife Toby (nee Goldstein) and their children Yossi, Isser, Ari, Doba, Chaim and Zalman.
He is also survived by his parents Reb Kalman and Shulamis Brikman and his siblings.
