With great sadness we inform you of the sudden passing of R’ Gershon Dovber Shiff, OB”M, of Shikun Chabad in Lod, Eretz Yisroel. Rabbi Shiff was 76 years old.
Rabbi Shiff directed the Ohr Simcha institutions for decades and educated generations of yirei Shomayim and Chassidim.
He is survived by – yibodlu l’chaim tovim – his wife Batya, and children R’ Yerachmiel (Lod), Mrs. Chana Mishulovin (Los Angeles, CA), R’ Yoske, R’ Michoel, R’ Schneur and Mrs. Malkie Chaviv (Kfar Chabad), R’ Mendy (Netanya).
The Levaye took place tonight in Lod, and then went for his burial to Yerushalayim.
