Pinchas ‘Pinto’ Greenberg, a longtime Crown Heights resident and a well-known figure in 770, passed away Shabbos morning 13 Shvat, 5780.

He was 59.

Pinto had suffered a heart attack on the second day of Sukkos while Farbranging in the 1414 Yeshiva Sukka and was in the hospital in a coma since then, with many davening for his recovery.

He is survived by his siblings Mrs. Shifra Goldstein – Spain, Mrs. Chaya Yakobovitch – Tzfas, Mrs. Malka Touger – Yerushalayim, Mrs. Tema Shapiro – Eretz Yisroel, Rabbi Avrohom Leib Greenberg – Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Tzippora Vogel – Crown Heights, R’ Yisroel Greenberg – Crown Heights, Mrs. Miriam Kalmanson – France and R’ Mendy Greenberg – Crown Heights.

The levaya will take place tomorrow, Sunday, leaving from Shomrei Hadas in Boro Park at around 1:00 pm and passing by 770 at around 1:45 pm.
